MINIHAUS München provides high-quality crèche and nursery school places at the Bognerhof. At our Trudering crèche, we can offer you childcare from as early as nine weeks of age. Our nursery generally looks after children up to the age of six. In the process, we implement a special educational concept which specifically addresses children’s needs. Committed education professionals look after your children in several groups with great care. Within the crèche, groups generally consist of up to 12 children. At our nursery school in Trudering, the number is limited to up to 25 children per group. In a caring atmosphere of security, warmth and safety, we ensure that your children can happily explore the world, developing a love of learning, a healthy self-confidence, social competence and their own personality as they do so. An additional benefit for many children and parents will be that it will no longer be necessary to switch organization when transferring from crèche to nursery school.
Trudering nursery | Carefree growing up in a historic atmosphere
Our day nursery in Trudering consists of a nursery school and a crèche right in the renowned Bognerhof. The Bognerhof is a real paradise to grow up in, and it has an impressive history, too: for a long time, this gem led a shadowy existence at Truderinger Strasse 293. The Bognerhof, one of the last historic farmhouses in Munich, had been left to its own devices, a sad fate. The listed building in the centre of Trudering seemed destined to collapse eventually, threatening to leave only its proud and turbulent history. The Bognerhof is mentioned for the first time in about 700 AD. From historical books and archives, we know that it changed owners several times in its history, burned down twice and was rebuilt. It housed a welfare centre before recently standing empty for many years and becoming increasingly dilapidated.
MINIHAUS München has now restored it to new splendour and life by turning it into a nursery in Trudering. In consultation with the office for the protection of historic monuments, the Bognerhof was restored and returned to its original character. An idyllic place, a historic farmhouse with a beautiful farm garden right in front of it, was thus created in the very centre of Trudering. Children from Trudering crèche and nursery school now fill the well-known Bognerhof with life, play with one another happily and explore the beautifully-designed garden.

We have eco-certification
Our nursery in Trudering has had eco-certification since 2019! We received the ‘Ökokids’ [EcoKids] award in recognition of the various sustainability and eco projects implemented in our nursery schools & crèches in Munich. The various projects could not be more varied. At one Minihaus nursery, the children tend their own herb garden, for example. When the herbs are suitably mature, they are harvested and then prepared and served in a tasty lunch. At another location, the children pretend to be junior architects, setting up special nesting sites and bug hotels for our creepy-crawlies. In yet another nursery, the children set up their own compost heap in the garden. This enables them to observe nature’s journey from leaf to humus at close quarters.
The aim of our numerous projects is to provide the children with sustainable development skills and to foster these in the early years sphere. Since children are blessed with natural curiosity and marked enthusiasm for research, they naturally acquire a sustainable attitude to life and a sense of responsibility for the environment through play, while experiencing fun and enjoyment.
Our Trudering nursery | A green play meadow and a farm garden
A beautiful farm garden has been planted right outside the front of the Bognerhof again, available as a herb and teaching garden. As part of our crèche and nursery school, a beautifully designed large garden and play meadow also provide plenty of outdoor space in which to get the carefree exercise in the fresh air which all children love and need. A large sandpit, children’s car racing tracks and wooden playground equipment get children’s pulses racing and encourage them to play and to let off steam. Willow tepees encourage them to picnic outdoors, to play hide and seek or to have imaginative games of cowboys and Indians. Regardless of whether they are playing in a world of their own in the sandpit, racing the children’s cars, play-gardening in the herb garden, splashing around in water under the awning, building snowmen or just relaxing – our nursery’s beautiful gardens at the Bognerhof in Trudering are the ideal place to enjoy nature.
Our Trudering nursery at the Bognerhof | CO2-neutral, eco-friendly and secure
At MINIHAUS München, the environment also plays a significant role for us. This is why it was especially important for us when restoring and modernizing the Bognerhof that it is above all safe for your child, but also eco-friendly and CO2-neutral. In collaboration with our experienced team of architects, we were able to complete this project perfectly in line with our ideas. Our highly efficient heating and ventilation system, which features controlled room ventilation and efficient heat recovery, makes no use whatsoever of fossil fuels and is CO2-neutral. Instead, our system relies on groundwater and ground-source heat. The eco-friendly, cosy warmth from the underfloor heating is reflected in the children’s beaming faces as they play on the floor.
However, our top priority at Trudering nursery is your children’s security. This is of key importance to us. To prevent unauthorized persons entering the nursery, both the crèche and the nursery school at Trudering have an electronic access system. This gives only authorized people access to our Minihaus at the Bognerhof. With your children in the best possible hands, you can concentrate on your working day without worrying.
A nursery with historic charm, modern technology and great transport links
The ‘new’ Bognerhof is a successful blend of historic building and modern architecture. In consultation with the office for the protection of historic monuments, our experienced team of architects designed a day nursery in Trudering which more than satisfies the latest educational and ecological standards. Large, attractive rooms with high-quality interior design and high-value educational materials encourage children to feel at home and to play. Secret accesses designed especially for us and large double doors encourage the children to explore the rooms. Special ceiling sails ensure a pleasant acoustic. Additional multifunctional rooms, some in the lovingly restored former stable, provide plenty of space for sport, music and creative activities, but also for performances and cultural events. During construction of the crèche and nursery school in Trudering, we also gave a high priority to ecologically safe materials and coatings.
The central location of the Bognerhof crèche and nursery school in Trudering is a special feature. In Truderinger Strasse there are numerous shops in the immediate vicinity of our building. * Childcare allowance
Childcare costs can be reduced by 100 euros a month if you apply for the Bavarian state’s Elternbeitragszuschuss [parents’ contribution allowance]. This allowance is available from 1 September of the calendar year in which the child turns three and is paid until he or she starts school.

The service charge is levied annually and covers our administration costs. In order to relieve our nursery managers and education staff of the burden of time-consuming administration, we have moved it to our office, enabling staff to focus on their educational work with the children.

Days we are closed
We are closed for two weeks during the Christmas holidays and two weeks during the summer holidays. There are also three days a year when the nursery is closed for educational staff planning days. We always give parents plenty of notice in writing of the actual days we are closed.
