Our crèche in Fürstenrieder Strasse 267
Our day nursery in Sendling was selected with care and designed in intensive collaboration with our team of architects to give your children plenty of space in which to have fun and let off steam. The aim of planning was to create a nursery with home rooms in which children, parents and staff feel well taken care of.
Our crèche in Sendling has a total of 36 places. It caters for children aged from nine weeks to three years. Children are assigned to a total of three groups, each with 12 places. The crèche itself is on the ground floor. In designing the space, we paid particular attention to high-quality interior furnishing. This creates a cosy, friendly atmosphere for our staff and children which is tailored specifically to the development needs of the children. We have ‘Ökokids’ certification
Our seven child daycare centres received 'ÖkoKids' [EcoKids] certification in 2019 and 2020. This was made possible by the variety of sustainability and eco projects they implemented. This process involves not just one eco project across all Minihaus locations; each nursery has its own educational eco project. In one example, the children harvest plants from their own herb garden and use them to make a delicious lunch. In another Minihaus, the children work as young architects and build bug hotels and nesting sites to enable them to observe nature close-up. Our projects aim to build up and increase the children’s sustainable development skills in the early years sphere through play and in a fun way. The advantage: children have a natural curiosity with which they follow their marked enthusiasm for research, and so acquire a sustainable attitude to life and a sense of responsibility for the environment through play.

The service charge is levied annually and covers our administration costs. In order to relieve our nursery managers and education staff of the burden of time-consuming administration, we have moved it to our office, enabling staff to focus on their educational work with the children.
Depending on family income, many parents can have some or all of their Elternbeitrag [parents' contribution] funded via the Wirtschaftliche Jugendhilfe [Youth Welfare Payments] provided by Youth Welfare Services. More information is available at: https://go.muenchen.de/kitabeitraege [in German]

Days we are closed
We are closed for two weeks during the Christmas holidays, three weeks during the summer holidays and on two days between public holidays and weekends. There are also two days a year when the nursery is closed for educational staff planning days. We always give parents plenty of notice in writing of the actual days we are closed.
