444 Years of 'Albi'

The Studienseminar Albertinum, which is located next to the MINIHAUS München am Westpark, celebrated its 444th anniversary last Friday.

Last Friday the Studienseminar Albertinum, in the grounds of which the MINIHAUS München am Westpark is situated, celebrated its 444th anniversary. There were speeches by the head of the Albertinum foundation, Stephan Zahlhaas, and the head of the centre, Klaus Lermer, and the children who had drawn the best anniversary picture received prizes. The highlight, however, was the presentation of the ‘Albi’ song. This song had been composed by the Albertinum band and was performed as part of a small stage performance. Further performances completed the afternoon, which came to an end around 5 p.m.

The Albertinum is a former Wittelsbacher foundation and Munich’s oldest educational establishment; its aim is to support children and teenagers in obtaining an appropriate school-leaving certificate. In late 2015, the after-school care centre und grammar school were joined by a MINIHAUS München crèche and kindergarten. We hope to continue our good collaboration and wish the Albertinum many more successful years!
