At the start of the new year quite a few people make a pledge to change to a healthier diet. In the past days, the Lila Minis, Blaue Minis and Rote Minis at Minihaus München - Menzingerstraße were busy with this topic, too. The Blaue Minis used spatter painting to design a poster and then allocated types of fruit and vegetable to the respective categories.
You cannot deny that chocolate and gummi bears rate high with children. However, studying the food pyramid the Minis learnt that such food should only form a small part of the diet. And there is no way to turn sweets into a nice salad - whereas this is perfectly possible with fruit.
Smileys were used for an informed allocation of food to the categories ‘healthy’ and ‘unhealthy’.
