Latest information on emergency childcare

As you have no doubt already learnt from the media, the Bavarian state government has decided to extend emergency care at childcare facilities gradually over the coming weeks.

From Monday, 11 May 2020, the following additional groups are entitled to emergency childcare:

Children with disabilities or at risk of developing a disability, who have received official notification of their entitlement to reintegration support [Anspruch auf Eingliederungshilfe]

Children whose parents are entitled to education support (Hilfen zur Erziehung, §§ 27 ff. SGB VIII)

Children of single parents in higher education.

The requirement still applies that your child may not have any symptoms of illness and may not be in contact with infected persons or 14 days have passed since the contact with infected persons and your child has no symptoms of illness.

If, as a result of the latest information, you would like to start using emergency childcare for the first time from 11 May 2020, please telephone us on 089-41 11 49 400 (Ms Veth and Ms Borbely; available Monday to Friday from 8 am until 6 pm) or e-mail kontakt@minihaus-muenchen.de.

We also ask you to complete the form „Erklärung zur Berechtigung zu einer Kinderbetreuung im Ausnahmefall“ [Declaration of entitlement to childcare due to exemption] und hand it in at your Minihaus. Further extension of emergency childcare is planned for 25 May 2020 when pre-schoolers and brothers and sisters of children already being cared for are expected to be given access to emergency childcare.
