Which employer would not be all smiles if their employees gave such positive reviews? At Minihaus München in any case everybody is very happy indeed: the large number of positive reviews submitted by Minihaus employees resulted in the company once again being awarded the title of "Top Company”. This makes the provider of private child daycare facilities one of the most popular employers in the German-speaking region on kununu again.

“We have received the ‘Top Company’ award for 2024 as well, making us one of the top 5% on the popular employer rating platform for the third time running”, Jacqueline Gröger-Eckerl, Deputy Managing Director at Minihaus, is pleased to report.

Staff at the eight child daycare centres particularly appreciate the good cohesion among team members and the positive working atmosphere. One professional writes: “Contact between colleagues is friendly and professional. The working relationship with the bosses is sympathetic and solution-oriented.” Another one adds: “The working atmosphere is characterised by appreciation, warmth and a willingness to help.”

The opportunities for continuing education attract positive reviews, too: “The company attaches great importance to the individual development of its employees and offers many different opportunities for continuing education, including Bildungsakademie Feinschliff, the company’s own training academy”, one professional compliments Minihaus.

Jacqueline Gröger-Eckerl is particularly proud that the employees see Minihaus “as a good place to work and appreciate it being a family business. We are well and truly a family business”, the Deputy Managing Director emphasises. Some of the kununu reviews show that: “For me, the family business is one of the best companies in the social sector due to the high level of professional expertise at all levels, the appreciative attitude and the diverse opportunities for career development and continuing education,” one of the reviews confirms.

In addition to the “open, constructive communication”, staff also praise the variety in their work: “My area of responsibility is very varied and provides me with the opportunity to try out different fields and to keep acquiring new skills.” The various projects and focal points in the Minihaus nurseries, such as the “Book Nursery” quality seal, the EcoKids project and the “Little Scientists’ House”, contribute to this.

Given the enormous skills shortage in childcare, too, holding the “Top Company” award may well be an advantage. “We are sure that the seal is a plus when it comes to recruitment. Applicants are bound to check the reviews on the kununu platform. The positive reviews provided by our staff allow applicants to get an authentic picture of what Minihaus is like as an employer”, Jacqueline Gröger-Eckerl is convinced.

According to a survey by the consulting company Employer Telling, kununu’s “Top Company” seal is the best-known employer seal among job seekers in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. The seal is awarded annually so that users can use the score to see how employees currently rate their company. (jh)
