Infection prevention measures
It goes without saying that, as in the past, it is still a priority for us to do everything we can to manage together the challenges still remaining in connection with the coronavirus pandemic. As a result, we will continue to implement our hygiene and infection prevention measures - such as regular hand-washing, etiquette around coughing and sneezing, regular ventilation, social distancing (where possible and meaningful) and the wearing of masks. Our staff, most of whom are fully vaccinated, will also carry out regular self-testing.
As parents, you too can give us a great deal of support in implementing our hygiene and infection prevention concept. As before, please continue to wear at least a medical-grade face mask when entering one of our nurseries and wash/sanitize your hands with your children. Please also observe social distancing (at least 1.5 metres) as best you can when dropping off and picking up. If you are accompanying your child into the group during the acclimatization phase, please also wear at least a medical-grade face mask. The Bavarian Ministry for Families does not consider it adequate to wear a cloth face mask.
We would also particularly like to draw your attention to the tests offered by the Bavarian Free State. As at the end of last crèche and nursery year, the Free State would like to make free self-testing for children available twice a week for all families.
We would like to emphasize to all our parents that, as before, our primary aim with all these measures is to enable your children to enjoy as normal and as straightforward a nursery routine as possible. We are firmly convinced that this is of key importance to your children.
As always, please contact us if you have any questions - we would be delighted to help.
