10 years of Minihaus Menzinger Straße

'We did plan a big party for our 10th anniversary on 13 September', says head of education Silvia Wick, but unfortunately that plan had to be dropped due to Covid restrictions. Instead there were celebrations just for the children and their nursery teachers.

In the morning, all parents were welcomed and received a Minihaus bag with lots of little surprises – all outside, in front of the Minihaus because of Covid. The party then continued indoors with the children celebrating in their Minihaus groups with singing circles and a big cake. Together children and teachers made an XXL birthday crown and a greeting card. And there was joyful and energetic dancing to music and disco lights in the kindergarten.

Gabriele Nischwitz, who has been a housekeeper at Menzinger Straße for 10 years, and all the other members of staff received a large gift basket, flowers and chocolates as a big thank-you for their work. (JH)
