Latest information on emergency childcare & hygiene policy

All the news on 23 June 2020 at a glance!

As you have no doubt already learnt from the media, the current prohibitions of entry will not continue after 30 June 2020. As of Wednesday 1 July 2020 all children will be therefore allowed to come to Minihaus München again at their usual booked times.

The only conditions for attendance are that your child is

  • not showing any symptoms of illness
  • not in contact with infected people, or 14 days have elapsed since contact with infected people and
  • not subject to any other quarantine measures.

We are delighted to welcome all children again at Minihaus München from 1 July and enjoy the summer together with them.

As already stated in our parents’ newsletter of 18 June 2020 we are asking you, dear parents, to wear a face covering when entering a Minihaus and wash/disinfect your hands with your children. We are also asking you to adhere to social distancing (at least 1.5 metres) as much as possible when dropping off and picking up.

It goes without saying that we will continue to implement all the necessary hygiene measures, such as regular handwashing, coughing and sneezing etiquette, regular ventilation, cleaning and disinfecting etc. with emphasis. In this we primarily follow the recommendations of the Bayerisches Landesamt für Gesundheit [Bavarian Office of Health], the Robert-Koch-Institute and the Bundeszentrale für gesundheitliche Aufklärung [German Federal Centre for Health Education].

Dear parents, we are very happy that the prohibition of entry will be terminated for all children as of next Wednesday. After a very difficult and challenging time for all involved, we will finally be able to serve you and your children in the usual manner.

We would like to thank you very much for your confidence, understanding and encouragement during those past weeks.

You are of course welcome to contact us if you have any questions.

Our hygiene policy

We are delighted that easing of lockdown conditions means that more and more children are able to return to Minihaus München and bring our facilities back to life.

In the course of these developments, it is important for us to adapt our hygiene policy appropriately to suit the current situation.

We are therefore asking you to wear a face covering when entering a Minihaus in future and to continue washing/disinfecting your hands with your children. We are also asking you to continue adhering to social distancing (at least 1.5 metres) as much as possible when dropping off and picking up.

It goes without saying that we will also be implementing responsibly and carefully all the necessary hygiene measures in working with your children, among other things in line with the recommendations of the Bavarian Office of Health. These include, among other things

  • regular handwashing with all children
  • practising of coughing and sneezing etiquette in a manner to suit the child’s age
  • regular ventilation of our rooms
  • regular cleaning and disinfecting of contact surfaces
  • using washrooms and function rooms in small groups at different times.

In implementing our hygiene measures, it is extremely important to us to give the children as normal and straightforward a Minihaus routine as possible. We are absolutely convinced that this is of great importance for your children in these strange times.

This in turn reminds us to thank you very much indeed for the numerous messages from parents which have supported us along the way.

We would also like to thank you, dear parents, very much for your understanding and active support in implementing our hygiene measures.

We wish you and your families a great time.

You are welcome to contact us if you have any questions.
